What's going on, it's Jonathan.

Before you spend the morning building an AI demo, find out which part of a business owner's day is actually causing trouble.

Start with a business you understand. A detailer. A cleaning company. A home-service company whose booking process you can follow.

Then ask three questions.

1. What happens when you miss a call?

Have the owner walk you through the process. Does someone check voicemail? Return the call? Write a note? Where does the request end up?

You're looking for the actual steps, including the ones people handle manually.

2. Which questions come up again and again?

Opening hours, service areas, appointment availability, what a customer needs to bring. Ask which answers are fixed and which need a person to decide.

3. What would a useful next step look like?

A callback request with the right details? An appointment request? A transfer to the office?

Get specific. "Help with calls" is a broad idea. "Collect the service needed, location, and callback number, then send that request to the office" gives you something to build and test.

Your task today: write one sentence describing one problem and one next step.

Now your demo has a purpose. You can show the owner how it handles that situation, where it stops, and when their team takes over.

If you want help turning that conversation into an AI agency offer, my free course and community are a place to start:

One business. One conversation. One useful demo.

Let's build. 🦁
