Canva's new AI can edit a whole deck from one request

Image: Canva newsroom
Canva launched Canva Brush, a new AI model built for design. It looks at your design and makes the changes you ask for.
The details:
It can change anything from one line of text to every slide in a deck.
Canva says it is up to 69% faster per edit than its old design agent.
Canva says it is 46% cheaper per edit than that old agent.
It is live now for Canva Pro users.
Canva says more people will get it "soon."
What it means for you: Fixing fonts, colors and wording across a big deck or a set of social posts can become one request instead of an hour of clicking.
TRY THIS TODAY
How to make a theme song for your business
Once you have Suno MCP early access, you can add it to Claude in about a minute.
In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors.
Click the plus button and choose "Add custom connector."
Name it Suno and paste this address: api.suno.com/mcp (add https:// in front).
Click Connect, sign in to Suno and approve it.
Paste this prompt: "Write a short, upbeat 30 second jingle about my business. Here is what we do: [one sentence]. Then make it with Suno."
Using ChatGPT? It lives under Plugins, then Add, then "Add custom MCP server." Songs use your Suno credits, so start with one short track. Suno's page has the steps for each app.

FROM MY CHANNEL
Want to see the AI helpers I would set up for a business? I walk through seven bots, from a chief of staff to a support bot, and the one rule I use so AI never sends anything without my OK. Watch "Grok Bot Just Gave Me 7 AI Employees (Copy My Setup)"
ONE MORE THING
If you make videos, here is a shortcut I like. Freedom Threads is a tool I'm involved with. Give it a YouTube video, and it turns it into threads for X and Facebook, image posts and 60 second scripts for TikTok, Reels and Shorts. The site says it takes about 30 seconds, and you can start free. Take a look at Freedom Threads
AI research, explained in one morning email
Most of what shapes AI next year is sitting in a research paper today. Keeping up with them is a full-time job, and the abstracts don't help.
TLDR AI is the newsletter that does the translating. Each morning you get the handful of papers worth knowing about, curated by Anthropic and ex-Google engineers, with a plain-English summary of what they found and why it matters.
You come away smarter about AI research in the time it takes to finish your coffee.
Free, and delivered to 1.1M+ inboxes every morning.
THAT'S ALL FOR TODAY
How was today's issue?
Have a safe and fun Halloween, and try the song project before Monday.

Jonathan
